Registration Policy

At Bear Race Events, each registration plays a vital role in helping us deliver high-quality, safe, and memorable experiences. Because of the significant planning and upfront costs involved, we ask that all participants review the following policies before signing up.

Refunds

​

We maintain a no refunds policy for all events and programs. This includes situations involving injury, scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or other unexpected changes. Like many in the industry, we make financial commitments well in advance of race day, and we’re unable to offer exceptions.

Transfers

 

We do allow transfers to another participant if you're unable to attend the event you registered for. It is the original registrant’s responsibility to coordinate the transfer.

  • Transfer requests must be submitted at least two weeks before the event.

  • Requests made within two weeks of the event cannot be honored.

​

Please note: Registrations cannot be transferred between different Bear Race Events, as each has unique costs, permits, and planning timelines.

Event Postponements

 

In the case of unexpected circumstances such as wildfire, severe weather, or land access issues, Bear Race Events may be required to postpone an event. If that happens, your registration will automatically carry over to the new date.

​

Refunds are not offered for postponements. Many expenses are incurred regardless of whether the event takes place as scheduled.
