We are excited to bring back a fan favorite venue to the Bay Area Super Prestige!
Once served as the first and the largest U.S. shipyard on the West Coast starting in 1854, It played a significant role in shipbuilding, particularly during WWII and the Cold War. Today the decommissioned shipyard now plays host for "The best Urban Cross race course in the world!"
Setting just outside of the Mare Island Brewery right on the Napa River Waterfront the Mare Island UCX makes for the perfect setting for all racers and spectators to enjoy the action.
Not only are we bringing bike racing through the shipyard back but we’re also bringing back the infamous Lonesome Louis 4 Person Relay!
Grab your crew and get ready because once the last race wraps up, teams will hit the course for a 4 person, 4 lap relay showdown!
There’s a catch though.. Each team can only ride one bike. That means you have to pick a bike that works best for all 4 members of the team.
When your fourth rider crosses the line, your team’s total time locks in.
The stakes are high with this race! Top 3 teams get to stand on the podium for the Lonesome Louis Relay Race, and the top team gets to have their names etched into the infamous Lonesome Louis trophy which will be proudly displayed in Mare Island Brewing Co for all guests to gaze at.
